Sebastien Ogier won the Junior World rally Championship in 2008. This year he is driving in the Citroen Junior Team with Chris Atkinson and Conrad Rautenbach. In Rally GB 2008 we caught a glimpse of his speed when he took the lead on his very first stage in a WRC Car. He dropped back however after a problem. On Rally Ireland, the opening round of the 2009 World Rally Championship he took his first points with 6th on only his second rally in a WRC car. He managed to get his first podium at the 2009 Acropolis Rally after a series of retirements.

He moved to Volkswagen and won the championship in 2013 World Rally Championship season and again in 2014. He got 2015 off to a perfect start with a hat-trick of wins in the first 3 rallies of the year.
